Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide grooming services such as bathing, haircuts, nail trimming, and ear cleaning for various breeds of dogs and cats.
  • Greet pet owners and discuss their specific grooming preferences and requirements.
  • Handle pets with care and compassion, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized grooming area, including equipment and tools, to ensure a hygienic environment.
  • Monitor the health and well-being of pets during grooming sessions and promptly report any concerns to the pet owners or the management.
  • Keep detailed records of each pet's grooming history and any special instructions provided by the pet owners.
  • Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques, trends, and pet care products to enhance the quality of services offered.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Proven experience working as a Pet Groomer, preferably in a professional grooming salon or pet care facility.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in grooming various dog and cat breeds, including knowledge of breed-specific grooming standards.
  • Certifications or training in animal grooming and handling is a plus
  • Fluent in English is a must, and Arabic language skills are a plus
  • Flexible to work in different shifts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with pet owners and team members.
  • Strong understanding of pet behavior and the ability to handle pets with patience and care.
  • Knowledge of grooming tools and equipment, with the ability to maintain and handle them safely.
  • Certification from a recognized grooming school or relevant training programs is a plus.
  • Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift during grooming sessions.
