Description:
As a D365 Application Specialist, you will serve as a key expert in D365 Finance, Supply Chain, and Retail & Commerce modules. Your role involves supporting, configuring, and developing technology-based solutions utilising Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations, as well as the Power Platform and other applications. You will be responsible for identifying gaps, documenting business processes/requirements, authoring technical design documents, conducting testing, managing data migration, building reports and dashboards, configuring standard and customised solutions, and providing end-user training and support for D365 and ancillary systems.
Responsibilities
- Analyse business needs to ensure that the software aligns with customer objectives by integrating industry best practices, product knowledge, and business insight.
- Conduct configuration of standard product functionalities, perform gap analysis, and design solutions.
- Implement and enhance application capabilities to meet business requirements using standardised coding patterns, extensible features, and external integrations.
- Create and modify reports and workspace, customise user interfaces, provide endpoints and APIs for Microsoft Power Platform apps and external systems, perform testing, monitor performance, analyse and manipulate data, create technical designs, and implement permission policies and security requirements.
- Provide end-user support for D365 Finance and Operations Modules, including Finance, and Supply Chain and Retail & Commerce.
- Support cross-functional project teams comprising app development, IT, operations, and information security.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a technical development consultant with Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&O/AX X++, Visual Studio, and other related tools.
- Experience with web portal integration & development (using Flutter or similar applications).
- Additional experience with technologies such as Power Apps, Power BI, and Microsoft Flow.
