Assistant Vice President

 

Description:

  • Align annual business plans with strategic objectives and present updates to Executive Management and the Board.
  • Implement KPIs and best practices for Corporate Planning to promote cost efficiency and productivity.
  • Gather input annually for Group-wide business plans and coordinate with divisions on planning and scorecards.
  • Analyze KPI data to provide valuable insights and manage KPI change requests aligned with senior management.
  • Coordinate corporate planning initiatives and monitor business plans across financial and non-financial dimensions.
  • Define and refine non-financial KPIs, ensuring alignment and consistency across Group plans.
  • Understand strategy and corporate planning concepts, identifying areas for professional development.
  • Maintain knowledge of banking processes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, supporting risk management frameworks.
  • Participate in mandatory training to maintain competence and support operational excellence.
  • Uphold data protection and confidentiality standards, safeguarding sensitive information.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as needed to support companies operational and strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree University graduate is a must, Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience, including at least 3 years in a similar role with a reputable financial institution.
  • Fluent in Arabic with proficient oral and written communication in English.
  • Business or functional exposure, preferably in corporate planning and performance management.
  • Familiarity with management consulting methodologies is advantageous.
  • Proficient in performance management, balanced scorecard approach, and managing information systems (MIS).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • In-depth understanding of financial institution business and support divisions' activities and functions.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and evaluation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across various organizational hierarchies.
