Description:
Assists therapists in the creation of and review all IEPs and progress reports and provide feedback on goals, connectivity, measurement criteria, readability, baseline, interventions/teaching strategies, and overall perspective/priorities of IEP including the dignity, spirit, and welfare of the child and family.
Develops, trains staff, and implements Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for each student within their caseload.
Meets with therapists, speech pathologist(s), and occupational therapist(s) to answer questions, trouble-shoot, and discuss intervention strategies as needed.
Meets with the therapists to review progress on all IEP goals and objectives, visually analyze data, discuss intervention changes, and provide program implementation feedback.
Meets with the Clinical Supervisor regularly to review in-situation observations, client progress, training topics, parent needs and observations, etc.
Completes predetermined support time to provide coaching on programming, ensure fidelity and collect interobserver agreement data.
Creates and deliver trainings for the purpose of staff development or parent training as requested by the Clinical Supervisor.
Communicates with families to discuss progress, generalization, and any other concerns to support classroom as needed.
Establishes and maintain rapport and act as a member of the team to ensure successful implementation of academic and behavioral programming.
Ensures consistency across all staff with behavioral and academic programs.
