Business Development Officer

Description:

Assist in managing the direct business portfolio by following up on the renewals of existing clients. Identify opportunities and execute strategies to increase company sales and profits.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the direct business portfolio by following up on the lost accounts on behalf of the company.
• Develop and sustain solid relationships with existing clients by visiting them frequently and providing information about the policies.
• Diligently work on bringing back the lost insurance business with former direct clients of the company.
• Communicate with customers and underwriters to determine which types of insurance are offered and which are most applicable to the specific customer.
• Guarantee that all necessary paperwork is complete prior to having the insurance policy in place. If required, deliver insurance documents to the customers.
• Assisting debt collectors at times of difficulty by following up with customers.
• Assisting with claims documentation if needed.

Any other duties as required.
