We are a high-growth Cybersecurity solution provider that helps data-driven organizations identify vulnerabilities and assess their security posture. Our fast-growing start-up environment is seeking a Business Development Officer/Senior Business Development Officer to join our team. This is an onsite full-time role with plenty of room for growth.
Responsibilities:
- Drive business growth and expansion in Qatar primarily, develop and execute against a territory plan, meet or exceed your quarterly targets.
- Work with our customers to acquire, grow and attract profitable business to achieve specific sales targets – you will achieve this by developing qualified opportunities and designing, pricing, and selling Cytomate’s range of Security Portfolio products to private and public sector customers.
- Manage key aspects of the sales cycle including requirements gathering, demos, proof of concept, presentations, workshops, and product specification.
- Troubleshoot client problems, answer questions from customers relating to solutions, and deliver technical enablement.
- Lead end-to-end customer engagements and respond to RFI’s & RFP’s.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the industry, technical, and competitive landscape to ensure the presentation and sale of the best client solutions.
Requirements:
- Cyber Security Background is essential and mandatory
- Technical excellence and a proven ability to sell SaaS/PaaS products is a must.
- A high level of understanding of Network or Security Solutions and Design experience, including producing high-quality technical documentation.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to understand the financial construction of a sales opportunity in Qatar or MENA.
- Customer-facing persuasion and negotiating skills that facilitate the understanding of the technical element of a solution.
- The ability to contribute to and provide value to the Winning New Business Process by producing quality design of processes that shape the sales function.
- Educated to a Bachelor Degree or equivalent is a must.
- Having extensive industry experience and relevant accreditations is advantageous.
- Local existing relationships with potential customers is advantageous.
- 1 - 5 years of experience in sales or business development in the cybersecurity industry.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic sales plan and achieve business targets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, mentor and coach junior members of the team.
- Proven track record of selling complex technical solutions to large enterprises.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
