Business Development Specialist

 

Description:

Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
  • Generate leads through effective networking, cold calling, and other strategic sales initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Understand client needs and propose suitable technology solutions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

  • Work closely with technical and consulting teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements.
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Provide valuable feedback to product development teams based on client interactions.

Sales and Marketing Activities:

  • Develop and deliver compelling proposals and sales presentations to clients.
  • Participate actively in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote company services.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create impactful marketing campaigns.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts and comprehensive business development reports for senior management.
  • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the technology development, consulting, and services sector.
  • Strong understanding of technology solutions and services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.
