We are helping a PE-held offshore wind developer, growing fast in Europe and APAC. They are growing their finance function very rapidly to handle the amazing growth opportunities in their company and their sector.
They are currently engaged in a program to implement an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Management system across all company functions in all locations globally. This project will transform operations, digitize processes and bring them into a cloud based ERP environment. An integral component of this effort is to ensure users having the knowledge, training and support needed to utilize business systems effectively.
The purpose of the role
- The role of the Global ERP Lead will be to effectively manage the change required to enable the successful deployment, localisation and adoption of the new ERP system and the associated changes in business processes, and day-to-day staff roles and responsibilities.
- This position is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of an integrated approach to stakeholder management, communications, training, system deployment and use of sustainable support structures needed to effectively drive adoption of the new system and processes.
- The individual will be a key driver of change across the global organization and will work in close partnership with both internal stakeholder teams and external vendors. Part of this effort is assessing the scope of change required for implementation of standardized global business processes across the organization, and ensuring that they are maintained and adhered to consistently.
- The person in this role should have experience in planning and directing the adoption of the transformational change brought about by global system implementations that will result in significant changes in how the organization operates. Leveraging expertise and best practices in developing clear compelling and creative change management, communications and training materials will be critical for success in this role.

Major Responsibilities
- Assess and Validate the Scope and Impact of the Required Change: Utilizing a clear methodology, review the holistic scope of this transformation project across the impacted technology and business areas. This includes understanding the depth of business process change, potential issues with technology adoption and degree of effort required to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees.
- Develop and Implement an Integrated Change Management Strategy and Plan: Validate work completed to date, develop, socialize and execute against clear change management strategy and plan that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimizes resistance.
- Understand the Organization, Identify and Manage ERP Project Stakeholders: Quickly understand the complexity of the organization and the unique characteristics of the global range of the program’s stakeholders. Begin to develop the relationships required to help drive the required change.
- Support and Coach Project Sponsors and Other Change Champions within the Organization: Act as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfil the role of change champions. Also provide direct support and coaching to all levels of managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through this transition.
- Supervise Team Members: This role will provide the overall leadership and guidance for a dedicated team of ERP team members that support activities for the project.
- Develop and Track Effective System Change Adoption Metrics: Institute the means for measuring, reporting and assessing change management effectiveness across the full lifecycle of the project.
- End to End Delivery Ownership: Ensure that the ERP team is aware and actively contributes to all other corporate development activities as appropriate to ensure the change impact is considered in all aspects of ERP implementation.
- Champion Innovative and Creative Ideas to help Drive Change: Integrate innovative approaches and continuous improvement ideas into all aspects of project deliverables including creative use of digital media.
