Contract Manager

 

Description:

The capability roles in Claim Management, Contracts Administration, and Quantity Surveying; with excellent working knowledge in estimating and quantity surveying practices (Pre & Post Contract), with necessary contracts administration and commercial management skills, expertise in big commercial and residential building projects, and Infrastructure projects from the tender stage to final account preparation; broad understanding of project scope, schedule and cost management ideas, and project planning, monitoring, and control procedures.

Job Responsibility

 

Responsibilities

1.   Study various Contract Documents and administer upstream and downstream contracts

2.   Work closely with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, Planner, and Engineering team to identify the

changes and potential variations

3.   Prepare request for Engineers Instructions addressed to the Engineer

4.   Prepare and submit Cost Impact Assessment for the issued Engineers Instructions and facilitate the issuance of

Variation Orders from the Client

5.   Conduct identification and prepare timely notification of claims as well as keep all contemporary records to

substantiate claims

6.   Conduct quantification of claims, specifically time aspect and its cost; and arranges the direct cost of the claim

through QS and arrange for the application for Extension of Time for Completion

7.   Coordinate with the QS team in the preparation of Payment Applications and other commercial matters motivated

and keen to become an integral office team member.

8.   Conduct risk analysis (on any contractual and commercial matters) related to various main and sub-contracts, in

order to advise the Management

9.   Prepare various correspondences related to the commercial and contractual matters of the project

10. Consolidate close-out documents for the completed sections and milestones of Works

11. Assess and recommend approval of rates for finalizing LPO for Subcontractor Works

12. Draft various Subcontractor/Supplier and service agreements

13. Familiar with FIDIC, SMM7, and, CESSM3

14. Must have experience in Civil, MEP and Infrastructure projects.
