Customer Service Executive

 

Description:

We are looking for a Customer Service Executive to join our company. He/She will be managing customer queries and complaints. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the customer service provided by the Bin Yousef Cargo division meet the customers’ requirements and to have a single point of contact for queries, information and concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily coordination of import/ export activity within their respective customer servicing cluster in coordination with other departments (sales coordination/ operations/ Warehousing) of Bin Yousef Cargo
  • Track and trace all shipments and update to relevant entities periodically
  • Ensure all contractual/ agreement obligations are in compliance
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for customer queries/problems that operations representatives in the team are unable to close or resolve
  • Ensure staffing levels within their respective cluster are adequate to deliver required level of service
  • Ensure all file closing is done in a timely manner across the servicing cluster, maximising profitability and addressing issues that could affect profitability in the future
  • Communicate operational and commercial needs of the clients to sales incharge and overseas partners, guaranteeing operational consistency and customer satisfaction
  • Proactively identify problems and swiftly implement solutions liaising with Operations Manager and Sales Incharge
  • Ensure that all customer service cluster staff understand operational procedures and play an integral role in on-boarding clients, creating seamless transitions and maximizing client retention
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our Operations System

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in shipping / logistics
  • Should be versatile and committed professional with fair knowledge and experience of Freight Forwarding and Shipping in Qatar
  • Good communication skills (email communication and via telephone)
  • Accurateness and attention to detail is required
  • Working under pressure and sticking to deadlines
  • Proficient computer skills in MS office
