Description:
Design, specifications and technical project management & Testing of set top box hardware, software and applications in collaboration with hardware, software and applications vendors.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Day to day technical project management and coordination of developments and integrations in order to deliver projects on time.
- Liaise with other departments to capture business requirements, change requests and get their acceptance of the deliveries.
- Write functional and technical specifications to be communicated to external technology vendors.
- Organize project kick offs, critical design reviews with the different technology vendors.
- Well versed on Project Methodologies
- Work with the test and quality assurance team to define test cases ensuring conformance with specifications.
- Work with technology vendors in investigating bugs reported by the test and support teams.
- Testing of STB Hardware & Software.
Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in digital TV at a middleware vendor, set top box manufacturer or a pay TV operator having deployed middleware-based hybrid IP/SAT set top boxes.
- Proficient B1 English Level
- Technical project management.

- Good knowledge of Satellite &IP TV standards and key technologies.
- Expertise with STB software and hardware architectures.
- Expertise with software development life cycle and quality assurance processes.
- Good knowledge with Internet protocols such as TCP/IP and UDP.
