Description:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Marketing and Communications, to be based in Qatar. In this role, you will be expected to lead the corporate strategy in managing both external and internal communications, overseeing multi-channel campaigns, and building our company’s reputation across various platforms. This position will play a critical role in complementing the Creative Director’s vision by adding a strategic, corporate approach to our messaging and outreach, ensuring that all creativity aligns with our business goals. You will work closely with our Creative Director to ensure that all marketing and communication efforts support the brand’s creative vision and strategic growth.
- Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
- Manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, content marketing, email marketing, and performance marketing.
- Drive the creation of high-impact campaigns, collaborating with the creative team to ensure compelling and visually engaging messaging.
- Analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and adjust marketing plans accordingly.
- Oversee the development of brand strategies, positioning, and messaging to differentiate the company in a competitive marketplace.
- Drive digital marketing efforts, ensuring high performance in SEO, SEM, social media, and web analytics.
- Lead the marketing team in content creation, media buying, and partnerships with influencers, media outlets, and agencies.
- Develop metrics and KPIs to track the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, using data-driven insights to adjust strategies.
- Work closely with stakeholders to support relevant product launches and develop go-to-market strategies.
- Oversee internal and external communications, including public relations, media engagement, and executive communications.
- Oversee the annual marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- 10+ years of experience in marketing leadership, with a focus on brand building, digital marketing, and campaign execution.
- Proven success in developing and leading marketing strategies that deliver measurable results.
- Strong creative acumen and experience working closely with creative teams.
- Expertise in digital marketing, including performance marketing, social media, SEO/SEM, and content marketing.
- Middle East experience is highly preferred, with a deep understanding of the region’s consumer behavior and digital landscape.
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Willing to be based in Qatar
