OVERVIEW / BASIC FUNCTION:
To plan and deliver a creative and practical marketing and sales approach that positions Rosewood Doha as an ultra-luxury hotel and delivers a strong revenue stream in each of the revenue centers (Rooms, Food and Beverage, Spa, Residences) within the hotel complex.
Strategic Planning includes building effective operating plans. Sales Direction includes ensuring sales priorities are clearly defined and communicated.
Marketing Communication includes developing systems to communicate effectively with key markets.
QUALIFICATIONS: · ~
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the capacity of DOSM for a luxury or ultra-luxury hotel.
Must have managed professional hotel sales within the GCC region.
Must be well versed in the best practices of revenue management including the deployment of hospitality software such as Sales Force, and Ideas.
Pre-opening experience is preferred.· Technical Skills: Understand the behavior of customers and define appropriate strategies to influence buying patterns.
Manage a diverse team to optimize collective performance within key markets.
Develop strategies to channel distribution from international markets and electronic channels.
