Draftsman Mechanical

Description:

- Carries out job assigned by Sr. Design Engineer in accordance with applicable codes and standards. Carries out detailed engineering drafting work using design calculations as appropriate for Mechanical, Piping, generates drawings for construction and maintains the “As Built“ core for all drawings, schematics. Also do materials take off for all Company drawings.
- Diploma in Engineering Disciplines
- 5 years of practical experience in a Refinery / Petrochemical Facility.
- The individual should possess above average communication/report writing skills and ability to work in a multi - cultural environment.
- Advanced AutoCAD knowledge is required.
- Knowledge of 3D Modeling software is an asset.
- Knowledge of other discipline drawings will be an asset.
- Advanced knowledge of scanning raster technology is an asset.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required (emphasis on Excel and Word, Access knowledge is an asset).
- Familiar with piping materials, Specifications, International Codes and standards.
