Position: NFL ELE Engineer
Location: Doha

End Date: 31-DEC-2024
- The job holder is accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behavior with regard to HSE rules & requirements and for implementing HSE rules within his area of responsibility.
- The job holder is accountable for all technical and coordination activities in line with Job Dimensions during Phase 3.1 [NFL] project execution from FEED to completion, as follows :
- Defining, implementing, managing and following up all necessary scopes and procedures related to NFL topside ELE discipline integration, interconnection to A and B location facilities and the wider ALS offshore network facilities in conjunction with the Topside Network engineer and RLIC PE’s and FOPS personnel
- Identify/manage all ELE technical interfaces and coordination aspects for New OTN equipment in offshore and onshore equipment rooms ensuring interconnection to Ooredoo systems within Phase 3.1 and NFL Packages during FEED and during project execution between EPC packages meet NFL project requirements,
- Scopes shall as a min cover all internal and external design interfaces, schedule and budget with all parties during project execution in particular
- Coordinate with other NOC entities during FEED and EPC execution,
- Coordinate technical matters between Phase 3.1 contractors and package leads,
- Coordinate with MP/Engineering for execution of FEED and EPC phases,
- Technically direct all parties under your remit and when specialist inputs required
- Prepare and follow-up PR/Audit sessions during Phase 3.1 NFL project execution
- Assist Phase 3.1 NFL Package Manager upon request on project management matters during project execution
- For delivery of high quality engineering dossier for FEED and future EPC phase,
- Report and liaise with Phase 3.1 NFL Manager as needed
- Qualification: Engineering degree in Electrical engineering.
- Experience: minimum 10 years’ experience, in Electrical field in offshore Oil and Gas industry.
- Strong engineering knowledge and experience in Electrical engineering and software and AVEVA Electrical product either in greenfield and brownfields projects, Offshore experience is required, specification
- Large spectrum of skill and competencies in various engineering disciplines and/or in Interface Management.
- A good knowledge of Contractual matters would be necessary and a good knowledge of Well Head Platforms Projects and Operations would be a plus.
- Languages: English mandatory
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards
- H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings
