Façade Designer/estimator

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed system, concept, and shop drawings for facade projects using AutoCAD 2D and 3D.
• Develop and refine facade designs to meet aesthetic, functional, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with project goals.
• Estimate project costs by analyzing materials, labor, and other factors, ensuring accurate budgeting.
• Apply Revit Architecture for advanced design and documentation processes (preferred).
• Recommend appropriate materials and techniques for aluminum facade systems, including UCW, CW, skylights, windows, and doors.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Participate in project meetings and site visits to gather information and provide technical expertise.
• Revise drafts and estimates as needed to meet project specifications and requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in facade design and estimation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D; experience with Revit Architecture is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of unitized and semi-unitized facade systems.
• Extensive knowledge of aluminum/steel facade systems and applications.
• Excellent drafting, design, and estimation skills.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Previous experience in facade construction projects is highly preferred.
