Functions:
Your duties will consist of but will not be limited to:
1. Preparation of Monthly Consolidated Profit and Loss Statement and Balance Sheet.
2. Work closely with IT manager to suggest Business Intelligence Dashboards , Management reports, Live Data feeds to track variance and performance and using the best tools available
3. Financial modelling and analysis to understand the company’s financial position and performance before making any decision.
4. Ensure accurate cash management and treasury of the company's daily cash flow and other short-term assets, moving funds when and as needed to ensure adequate liquidity.
5. Work with international colleagues across the Group in delivering a single, harmonized and simplified planning tool across the Group.
6. Ensure that the Finance Team produces accurate financial management of accounts.
7. Oversee the day-to-day activities of the finance team and ensure the companies finance function is organized and efficient.
8. Timely production of statutory and internal Financial Reports, Internal Control & Audit.
9. Preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows.
10. Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes.
11. Provide feedback to the management regarding risks and potentials for new business opportunities or deals, new product developments and potential partners.
12. Effectively communicate with the Finance Team and motivate them to work proactively in order to handle difficult situations, with the aim to rectify them and avoid recurrences.
13. Plan, develop and implement strategies for generating resources and guiding the business model in order to attain the self-sustainability of the organization.
14. Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
Skills:
· Chartered Accountant or Certified Accountant with 10 plus year of experience preferably in Retail
· Functional Accounting/Finance experience and skills.
· Proficiency in accounting software and experience with implementing Global SAP environment.
· Technical product knowledge or specific domain expertise with SAP B1 and S4/ HANA as well as subject matter knowledge within products and business processes related to Finance & Accounting.
· Assist in coordination and consolidation of issue handling, analyzing, and tracking of data.
· Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
· Mastery in delegating multiple tasks.
· Excellent management and leadership skills.
· Effective communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate the team.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
