We’re searching for a skilled and creative florist to add to our growing team. In this role, it will be your job to help our customers select flowers that meet their style preferences and budgetary needs. Then, you’ll turn those flowers into memorable arrangements. Some of these arrangements will go on to be displayed in our customers’ homes, while others will be displayed at special occasions such as weddings.

It’s essential that you have familiarity with a wide variety of flowers and preparation techniques. You should also have excellent customer service skills, as much of your days will be spent working directly with our clients. This position will also require you to complete some administrative tasks. For example, you may spend time helping us arrange our storefront, reorder supplies, and promote our business.

Florist Responsibilities:
Recommend flowers to customers based on their style preferences, budget, and occasion
Design memorable decorative flower displays for use in various settings
Help us maintain the cleanliness of our store
Answer customers’ questions on how to care for their purchase
Reorder supplies and help us promote our business
Florist Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience working with flowers is strongly preferred
Excellent customer service skills
Willingness to work a variety of shifts
Physical ability to remain standing for most of the day
Artistic, creative nature
