Forklift Battery Technician

Description:

    Educational qualification: Diploma in Electrical/Electro-Mechanical

·      Should have experience and knowledge of handling various type of batteries which includes Traction batteries used in Forklifts, Semi-Traction batteries/Lead Acid Deep Cycle batteries used in various EVs and Electric machines, VRLA AGM batteries, Marine batteries, and Li-ion batteries.

·      Scope of Work:

1.      Key responsibilities include periodical maintenance of batteries in our stores which includes recording open circuit voltage (OCV), charging the batteries, checking of specific gravity and electrolyte level on lead acid and keeping the record of the same in a timely manner.

2.      Periodical maintenance of batteries on client site which includes checking the state of batteries and the ability to provide solutions in case of a complain/failure.

3.      Battery installation and commissioning on client site when required.

4.      Resolving customer complaints on-site/off-site when required.
