Graphic Designer

Description:

In this role, you will:

· Demonstrate strong creative skills and ability to develop original concepts for both digital and print projects.

· Offer high-quality designs with attention to detail and provide support for various accounts and clients.

· Have the ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.

· Work in conjunction with senior team members to visually communicate the client’s brief by following respective brand guidelines.

· Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media and overall design trends.

· Conceptualize, develop and refine designs/ illustrations and produce them in various sizes by adjusting the layout accordingly.

· Implement feedback received from account managers in a timely manner.

· Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Animation/ video editing skills are desirable.

· Take internal design requests for BLJ Worldwide i.e. marketing materials, email newsletters, stationery designs etc.

· Demonstrate teamwork as well as the ability to work independently.

· Give feedback where you deem necessary to improve the quality of BLJ’s work.

To successfully apply for this role, you will:

· Hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably in graphic design, arts, marketing, communications, or a related field.

· Have a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Gulf region.

· Have a portfolio demonstrating quality previous graphic design work.

· Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite i.e. Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. After Effects skills are desirable

· Have strong verbal and written English language skills (proficiency in Arabic is desirable).

· Be willing to develop your skills proactively through learning and development and share this knowledge with colleagues at all levels.

· Have strong time management and organizational skills to hold accurate design files/ records.
