Description:
- Lead the day to day operations of the Fire Station, in compliance with the company plant needs and priorities to ensure it achieves the highest operational standards.
- Coordinate the emergency response teams and assist the Crisis Management Team during major emergencies in order to provide support in directing containment efforts, rescue and resolution activities.
- Lead multiple response agencies for large-scale incidents in all onshore facilities including resources allocation and equipment’s distribution at the scene of emergency.
- Ensure the development, approval and implementation of fire, emergency and maintenance programs and procedures confirm to local and international regulations and standards.
- Oversee the activities of all shift teams to ensure the operational and overall fire station readiness including maintenance of equipment and apparatus.
- Prepare and submit regular activity and statistical analysis reports that identify trends, patterns.
- Implement training programs, ensuring that energy response staff is well trained and ready for emergencies.
- Support the HSE department and demonstrate commitment to safety in order to ensure protection to the company staff, assets and community.
- Review and determine annual operating budget requirements for tactical response equipment/resources.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Fire Safety Engineering or Fire Safety Management or similar.
- Active Membership / or Credentialing from an internationally recognised professional institution i.e. GIFireE from Institution of Fire Engineers UK, CFO from Commission on Fire Accreditation International USA.
- 10 years of emergency response experience in Oil, Gas or Petrochemical industry, of which 3 years are in supervisory positions.
- Knowledge of the current national and international legislation related to Emergency Response.
