Healthcare Business Analyst

 

Description:

The business-analyst will be responsible to process, interpret and document business processes, products, services, and software through analysis of data. The role of a business analyst will be to liaison between the customer and technical team to ensure requirements are elucidated efficiently through their knowledge of both IT and business function

Responsibilities :

 Organize workshops to gather customer requirement.

 Capture the requirements and prioritize them along with the respective stakeholders.

 Be the first point of contact for all the requirement related clarifications.

 Break the requirements into smaller tasks or stories based on necessity.

 Prepare the requirement traceability matrix and maintain it.

 Ensure creation and managing of Jira tickets with reference to product features.

 Follow up with the product owners and analysts to prioritize the requirements with reference to client commitments.

 Create user story documents with reference to the traceability matrix.

 Capture the acceptance for all the requirements.

 Work on gap analysis and provide recommendation for the gaps.

 Research on the current market requirements and help the product owners/analysts to build the product road map.

 Validate all the requirements with respect to the story documentation signed off by the stakeholders.

 Demonstrate features and help the stakeholders to stay abreast with the features of the product.

 Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

 Participate in daily meetings with product managers, SMEs, and other stakeholders extracting requirements.

 Work as a liaison between the stakeholders/clients and scrum team.

 Analyze customer workflows and convert them into system workflows.

 Communicates status externally and raising risk at the right time.

 Support new client implementations.

 Manage Product backlog.

 Help and lead in developing processes whenever necessary.

 

Mandatory Qualifications:

 Work Experience in EHR Implementation

 At least 4 to 5 years of work experience

 Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English

 Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

 Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

 Bachelor's Degree in the appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience

 Experience with project management software tools

Preferred Qualifications:

 Experience of EMRs like Cerner, Epic, Allscripts, etc.

 Experience of working in healthcare organizations in ME region
