Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive HSEQ Coordinator to join our marine operations team. This role is pivotal in ensuring a safe and responsible work environment across our bases and vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Implementation: Implement Petro Services processes and procedures as per Company IMS.
- Document Standardization: Ensure HSEQ documents align with regional requirements and national legislation.
- ISO Certification: Assist in the development, implementation, and certification of Petro Services against ISO standards.
- Reporting: Prepare and communicate monthly HSE reports and figures.
- KPI Management: Collect, analyze, and follow up on fleet HSE KPIs.
- Initiative Monitoring: Oversee local company HSE initiatives.
- Training Coordination: Organize training programs and seminars and conduct inductions for new employees.
- Safety Meetings: Coordinate and participate in safety committee meetings, maintaining accurate records.
- Site Inspections: Conduct regular site and vessel visits for safety compliance inspections, risk assessments, and hazard analysis.
- Audits: Perform internal and external audits as required.
- Safety Programs: Develop and implement safety programs through regular inspections.
- Contractor Audits: Audit contractors’ safety programs.
- Incident Management: Ensure timely completion of accident/injury reporting and conduct incident investigations.
- Medical Certification: Ensure employees’ medical certifications are up to date and compliant with company and client requirements.
- Additional Tasks: Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Head of HSEQ.
Skills and Requirements:
- Education: Degree qualified or equivalent professional registration preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Experience: 3-5 years as an HSEQ Coordinator.
- Quality Systems: Experience in implementing quality management systems.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills in English and the official language of the country.
- Training: Proven ability to train and mentor personnel in HSE.
- Security Awareness: Understanding of security issues relevant to the country.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel offshore and adapt to business needs.
- Cultural Competence: Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.
