Infrastructure Engineer

Description:

This is to join a team of 4 others who are responsible for the IT Infrastructure Estate across the business. They work on installing, testing, maintaining, upgrading and improving the operating environment, new utilities, hardware, computing platforms and infrastructure, in line with business requirements and IT strategy.

Key Skills/Experience required

• 5+ years relevant experience as a System engineer within the Financial Services industry
• Understanding of how Microsoft technologies scale in a large environment
• Deep understanding of virtualisation technologies with at least 1 year hands on experience with either VMWare vSphere 6+ or Hyper-V.
• A great understanding Microsoft core infrastructure technologies: Windows Server 2019/2022, Active Directory and supporting services (DNS,Certificate Authoritym SPN, AzureAD etc)
• Deep knowledge and understanding of Citrix
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure
