Interior Design Architect

Description:

Qualification & Experience: Preferably minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the same role. Proficient in AutoCAD, 3D Max, Sketchup or Revit, Corona & Photoshop.

Job Description:

1. Attending Project sites to analyze space availability, design needs and space constraints.

2. Site survey / measures of existing conditions & producing drawings of same.

3. Proficient time management to facilitate working on multiple projects simultaneous.

4. Attending Client meetings to understand Client needs, design preferences regarding interior styles, colors, look and feel.

5. Creating initial design sketches & mood boards.

6. Creating 3D Design visuals for interior spaces, floor plan layouts, sections, reflected ceiling plans etc.

7. Responsible for producing architectural working drawings including all details for architectural interior projects.

8. Getting approval from the Client before creating CAD designs & detailed drawings, issue for construction drawings.

9. Advising on material specification, fixtures, furniture etc. and specifying vendors and particulars.

10. Perform coordination with Mechanical, Electrical and other trades in order to ensure coordinated layouts.

11. Attend with contractors and vendors to implement design ideas, such as Carpenters, Painters, Plumbers, Electricians and Artists.

12. Arranging Client visits and keeping everyone involved in the project appraised of its progress.

13. Monitor project execution in line with approved design drawings.

14. Review shop drawings submitted by contractors and comment.
