As a Junior Sous Chef, You will be preparing various types of food while ensuring a high standard of food preparation, cooking, and presenting. You need to have a passion for food and experience working with high standards. Ultimately, you will help us establish our reputation as one of the best food places in Doha and increase Alhazm clientele.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality and super-tasty foods
• Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.
• Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set-up for all dishes.
• Receiving incoming supplies and performing inspections to ensure quality and quantities meet established standards
• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs.
• Following standardized menus, as well as developing recipes

Desired Skills

• Minimum 5 years of work experience at a high-end restaurant or Hotel
• Formal education from a culinary school
• Knowledge of quantity food production and serving techniques, food safety/sanitation requirements, and procedures.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable while working in a fast-paced environment
