Learning And Development Officer

 

Description:

Plan, coordinate, communicate and engage delegates and monitor progress and implementation of the Leadership Program delivery, as well as other programs listed in the role scope and the job dimensions above

Coordinate attendance, shifting schedules, management of venues, catering, venue arrangements, programs evaluation, content review and updates, distribution of learning materials to participants

Update the data related to the attendance in LMSes and generate progress reports

Distribute leadership evaluation assessments and reports to the delegates, as well as other materials - electronically and in hard copies when required

Maintain and implement the leadership development branding (communications thru the NOC channels, company LMSs, the company Intranet, and company web- webpages)

Create and maintain the Leadership programs Calendar (collective and individual ones)

Conduct training evaluations to measure training effectiveness and efficiency of the design and content and delivery, as well as extent to which it meets training objectives

Analyze audience feedback on training effectiveness to pursue continuous improvements in training design and delivery

Assist with programs design, roll-out and facilitation, and improvements, as required and requested

Contribute to identifying Cost saving and Cost optimization opportunities in the area of Learning & Development.

Context And Environment

Context: L&D is a function within HR and is establishing itself as a center of excellence and trusted partnership for learning in NOC, and people and leadership development. L&D work is concerned with processing a lot of data, and generating reports, from various LMS systems. The current challenge is to enable the LMSs to effectively support the organizational and business needs. The role is a very transverse touch-point role within the Organization (interactions with all entities in relationship to leadership and D&EI people development) Environment: Office based in Doha, Qatar

Qualifications & Experience Required

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/Education preferably with a Major in Human Resources Management

Experience: Minimum 10+ years experience in Human Resources or Learning & Development function

Proficient in MS Office applications and communication platforms

Customer focus, robust and clear communication, results oriented, planning and accountability
