Lifting Engineer

Description:

📌 Requirements:

•  Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
•  Minimum 5 years of proven experience in heavy and critical lifting and planning activities.
•  Proficiency in AutoCAD for developing lifting plans (critical and non-routine lifts).
•  Strong knowledge of lifting equipment, crane types, and rigging principles.
•  Experience in offshore jacket/topside/Riser tower fabrication/installation projects preferred.
• Membership in LEEA or equivalent is an advantage.
•  Excellent communication skills in English.

 Responsibilities:
🔹 Prepare lifting plans using AutoCAD and ensure compliance with company procedures.
🔹 Promote safe lifting operations aligned with HSE policies and international standards.
🔹 Assess, analyze, and execute lifting operations on-site.
🔹 Verify equipment requirements and ensure their capacity for safe execution.
🔹 Lead, mentor, and train rigging supervisors, foremen, and riggers.
🔹 Participate in audits, incident investigations, and operational improvements.
