Manager – Projects

Description:

We are recruiting for our client a leading EPC Contracting Co. an experienced Manager – Projects to oversee the execution of projects involving storage tanks, pressure vessels, piping, and structural steel fabrication and project execution. The role requires strong leadership, project management expertise, and a deep understanding of fabrication, installation, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end project execution for storage tanks, pressure vessels, piping, and structural steel structures.
Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ASTM, AISC, and other relevant industry codes and standards.
Coordinate with clients, engineering, procurement, and fabrication teams for seamless project delivery.
Conduct risk assessments, implement safety measures, and ensure adherence to HSE regulations.
Monitor project progress, resolve challenges, and ensure timely completion within budget.
Lead and mentor project teams to enhance efficiency and performance.
Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
25+ years of experience in project management in oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy fabrication industries.
Strong knowledge of API 650/620, ASME Sec VIII, TEMA, ASTM, AISC, and piping standards.
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
PMP certification is an added advantage.
