Mechanical Assistant Technician

Description:

Educational Qualification:
Diploma or Trade Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry or working with major utilities.
Proven experience assisting a mechanical technician, performing minor mechanical repairs.
Familiarity with hand tools, fasteners, and similar mechanical equipment.
Language Skills:
Good spoken and written communication skills in English.
Driving License (Optional but preferred):
Qatar Heavy Duty Driving License for a self-loader (crane truck) and backhoe is preferred.
Certification as a Crane Operator for the self-loader, maintained throughout the contract duration.

💼 Job Responsibilities:
Assist in carrying out minor mechanical repairs and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
Support mechanical technicians in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues.
Use hand tools, fasteners, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures in line with industry standards.
Perform site-specific tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor.
