Mechanical Engineer

Description:

The Maintainers is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to oversee the planning, execution, and maintenance of all mechanical systems in our managed facilities. This role ensures smooth MEP services, compliance with safety and quality standards, and efficient team coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
✔ Implement preventive & corrective maintenance activities for all mechanical equipment.
✔ Supervise and control the installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of a wide range of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with technical standards and safety procedures.
✔ Develop and implement long-term strategies for facility upgrades, energy optimization, and environmental compliance.
✔ Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and support.
✔ Conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
✔ Analyze facility operations to identify opportunities for cost savings, performance improvements, and sustainability initiatives.
✔ Lead emergency response efforts and implement preventive measures to minimize downtime and disruptions.
✔ Maintain up-to-date documentation, including maintenance logs, equipment manuals, and project records.

Requirements:
 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
 Experience: 3-5 years in Facility Management.
 must be locally available in Qatar with a valid NOC.
 UPDA certification is mandatory.
