Description:

15+ years of experience in oil & gas offshore industry with package management of various types of offshore structural steel. Skilled in Structural design of offshore platforms, Structural Material Specifications, material and purchase requisitions, technical bid Evaluation and commercial negotiations. Experience in managing Vendors/Suppliers to ensure that delivery of welded tubulars, seamless pipes, plates and rolled sections meets schedule and cost, manages all Interfaces and ensures compliance with the purchase order. Monitors and manages the delivery risk profile & mitigation measures. Liaise with vendors for the production schedule, resolution of techno commercial issues, Kick-off meetings, Pre-inspection meeting, Inspection notifications. Provide leadership and commitment to HSES matters within the project.

Role Mission

  • Ensure the preparation process for bids guaranteeing the elaboration of the most competitive cost quotation, contributing to achievement of defined goals and sales targets of the Division
  • Ensure the development of project management competencies, methodologies ad tools, guaranteeing their diffusion, implementation and continuous improvement
  • Contribute from the acquisition phase to define plans, programs and possible utilization of competencies within the Group and on the external market, also proposing the most favorable and competitive collaboration choices
  • Ensure the governance of projects and initiatives in terms of organizational, financial, technological and contractual aspects, assuring the achievement of the established objectives
  • Plan, coordinate and control the execution of the project, in accordance with the Client requirements, within time and cost constrains and in compliance with HSE and Quality procedures

Tasks

  • Lead the collaborative, dynamic planning process, prioritising the work that needs to be done considering the capacity and capability of the team
  • Develop the Proposal Plan
  • Organise and hold the bid kick-off meeting
  • Analyse Contract requirements and conditions
  • Ensure the definition of project organisation, overall project schedule, overall execution plan, overall resource plan
  • Ensure the integration of proposal packages prepared by the Proposal Partners (if any) and reconcile possible discrepancies
  • Ensure the capitalization of the experiences acquired on the projects, identify and share criticalities, success factors and obtained results guaranteeing the consolidation of common approaches for the optimal management of risks, opportunities and know-how
  • Ensure the knowledge of the evolution of the market of services, in order to define and implement specific plans for increase the range of services provided to the Clients and for the collection of their needs along the overall project lifecycle
  • Manage the post-bid clarification phase with the Client
  • Ensure that Risks Analysis is correctly applied, guaranteeing through ROBS (Risks and Opportunity Breakdown Structure) the definition of the risk register through the Risks and Opportunity methodology application
