Description:

Prepare and Bake all desserts and pastries according to recipes and following traditional and modern recipes.

  • Create new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers quality and presentation standards, and food prep checklists.

  • Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings, etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting.
  • Preparing, Cooking and packaging and serving light food and snacks.
  • Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar, etc. and make appropriate orders within budget.
  • Receiving deliveries and verifying that all ordered items have been delivered and are of good quality.
  • Taking inventory of restaurant supplies and notifying the supervisor of low or depleted supplies.
  • Discarding all expired and spoiled food items stored in the stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers.
  • Check the quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking.
  • Prepare ingredients for Baking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use.
  • Performing basic cleaning duties and ensuring that workstations are properly sanitized.
  • Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools.
  • Come up with recipe ideas from scratch Plan the menu of desserts and pastry to complement savoury items.
  • Ensure the kitchen is always clean and sanitized all the time.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge about pastry arts and ingredients.
