Description:
Main Accountabilities/Duties:
- Acquire new clients and broaden business with existing ones
- Generate additional revenue and profit for the subsidiary
- Commercial responsibility for the business unit
- Personal sales as well as support of key accounts
- Coordination and support of sales via formwork sales engineers
- Demand and stock planning
- Negotiate with international and external suppliers
- Support of warehouse and logistics management for the business unit
- Track orders from suppliers as well as clients and check invoices
- Optimize portfolio, introduce new products to generate higher profitability
- Report forecast to MD, Head of Sales and Head of Finance
- In relation with Head of Finance, track margins
- Be selective with credit for customers and firm with payment terms
- Analyze business opportunities in Qatar, Kuwait & Bahrain in coordination with the existing resources
- Manage and regularly update sales database with regards to the plywood and components business for all reporting requirements and business coverage areas
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Material Engineering or similar
- 3-5 years of experience in building materials trading
- Experience in the plywood trade and sales to resellers and/or end-users in the construction or formwork industry is an asset
- Fluent in written and Oral English
- Knowledge of Arabic is an asset
- Confident with great interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in an international team environment
