Description:

  • Provides high-level administrative support to the School Dean, Heads of Departments, and Faculty Officers in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in the office as well as rendering support to both lecturers and students to ensure effective teaching and learning
  • Manages the Academic Calendar, schedules appointments, and coordinates meetings.
  • Drafts and edits correspondences, reports, memorandum, and letters, minutes.   Prepares and maintains confidential documents. Ensures proper filing and documentation.     
  • Assists in budget management, expense tracking, and financial record-keeping.
  • Plans and coordinates travel arrangements, accommodations, and itineraries.
  • Supervises and trains junior administrative staff and work-study students, ensuring they adhere to best practices.
  • Acts as a liaison between the Dean, lecturers, staff, and students.
  • Processes and offers admissions to new applicants.
  • Assists and attends to students' issues and advises accordingly.
  • See to the overall management of the department.
