Procurement Engineer

Description:

The Key responsibility includes handling efficiently all the procurement activities related to Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing, and associated spare parts, Consumables, etc..

Responsibilities

a) To procure equipment, materials & systems complying to project Quality and Specification requirements.

b) To procure materials and subcontract in timely manner within approved budgeted cost.

c) Prior to ordering, to check all ex-stocks availability in stores.

d) To ensure timely delivery of equipment, material & systems to support site installation works as per approved work program.

e) All procurement process should comply to management approved procedures and policies with respect to time, cost, and quality.

f) Prepares documentation for internal process as per ISO Standards.

g) Excess materials from sites shall be returned back to central stores on monthly basis.

h) Develops and maintains good relationship with suppliers and subcontractors.

i) Maintains company reputation & credibility by fair dealings and prompt payment.

Qualifications

1) B.E / B. Tech in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.

2) Must have 3 to 4 years' experience in the same field (Electrical/Mechanical/Plumbing).

3) Excellent verbal and written communication.

Salary: QR 3000 - 4000 (Based on experience).
