Production Manager

Description:

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all slaughterhouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards.
- Manage and supervise the production team to meet production targets while ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Ensure all production processes are carried out according to company policies, industry standards, and local regulations.
- Coordinate with quality control and maintenance teams to ensure that equipment and products meet the highest quality standards.
- Optimize production processes to minimize waste, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Monitor and enforce proper handling of all materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including raw material usage, product output, and workforce hours.
- Provide leadership and training to staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Participate in production planning, budgeting, and resource allocation processes.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5-15 years of relevant experience in poultry farming, meat processing, or slaughterhouse management.
- Previous experience working in the GCC region is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and health and safety regulations within the slaughterhouse and meat processing industry.
- Proven experience managing large teams, ensuring productivity, and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- A degree in food science, food technology, or a related field is preferred.
