Role overview: The Program Manager will have a sharp business mind and proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives. As a natural leader, this person should have strong talent for project coordination and delegation. Ultimately, the program manager should be motivated by a desire to optimize productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement program strategies, goals, and objectives in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define program scope and objectives.
  • Lead, motivate, and provide direction to cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of programs.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements.
  • Monitor and manage project timelines, ensuring all milestones are achieved on schedule.
  • Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate program progress, risks, and issues to key stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
  • Oversee program budgets, track expenditures, and ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage financial risks associated with programs.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively manage risks associated with program delivery.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of program delivery.
  • Conduct regular evaluations to measure program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement

· Experience with museums/cultural sector desirable.

· Five or more years of experience in program management, including successful delivery of complex projects.

· Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods & proficiency in project management tools and software (Basecamp, MS Project etc.).

· Budget management experience.

· Experience in proposal writing.

· Working knowledge of digital marketing.

· Outstanding knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes.

· Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization.

· Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • · PMP or PgMP certification preferred.
