Job Summary:
The PRO will have a prominent role in building strong relationships with main governmental bodies. The PRO will ensure the successful implementation of PR functions and work closely with different parties to develop the company’s public presence.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparing documents for manual and online processing for all tasks linked to the government entities such as Ministry of Interior (Immigration), Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Ministry of Health and Medical Commission, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Municipality and Environment (Baladiya), Ministry of Customs, Ministry of Finance (Dhareeba), Hukoomi Portal & Ministry of Justice
- Process, submit, and follow up on all the company’s official relations/transactions with the government sectors
- Typing a variety of documents and formats for use by government entities in both Arabic and English
- Submitting all renewals of visas & labor work permit cards with the labor office as well as the immigration department
- Issuance of New/ Renewed RP/ Health Card. Timely updating of trackers pertaining to the Work Permit/ Resident Permit and Health Card. Submitting a weekly report on the same to HRM
- Cancellation of RP for the resigned/ terminated employees
- Preparation of the Employment Contracts, coordination with the Embassy/Ministries for attestation or related activities
- Submit, follow up, and gather all new work and business visas to guarantee that the visas are handled and processed on time
- Represent the company at different offices like Airport, Embassies, Police Station, Ministries/Municipalities, and other Government Departments
- Renewals of official documents of the company (Trade license, Commercial registration, Establishment ID card, Tax card)
- New Visa Processing: On receipt of new visa applications and related approvals, initiating the visa processes, keeping track, and updating the Quota List
- Miscellaneous activities including handling absconding cases, Police Cases, Following up on medically unfit employees’ repatriation
- To liaise with authorities to ensure Company compliance with local laws and regulations
- To keep updated on Labor-related changes in relation to visa processing
- Arrange attestation of company documents with various government bodies: Ministry of Justice, Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and embassies
- Taking appointments from the Medical Commission and following up on the result of checkups
- Prepare and process applications in the labor office as well as online applications of immigration in compliance with Qatar laws and regulations
Candidate Requirements:
- Working knowledge of Qatar labor regulations and government for authorities
- Willing to travel outside the office as per duty requirements
- Familiarity with government E-Services
- Ability to plan, manage and design various public relations programs and strategies
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Excellent communication and writing skills both in Arabic and English
- Extensive experience in Public Relations/Communications
- Eye to detail and acute organization skills
- Qatar Driving License
- F&B industry experience is an advantage
Education:
Diploma or Graduate
