Quality Assurance Quality Control Inspector

Description:

We are currently looking for an experienced Lead QA/QC or QA/QC Manager to oversee our quality and safety processes and maintain our Integrated Management System (IMS).

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the IMS in compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.

Develop and execute project-specific Quality Control Plans (QCPs) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).

Oversee QA/QC activities for structural fabrication, welding, piping, and blasting/painting projects.

Conduct and supervise inspections for welding (ASME, AWS), NDT (UT, MT, PT, RT), and coatings (BGAS, NACE).

Ensure compliance with project requirements, international standards, and client specifications.

Supervise and train QA/QC inspectors to ensure efficient and accurate performance.

Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and oversee corrective/preventive actions.

Maintain and manage quality documentation, including inspection records, test results, and reports.

Requirements:

 Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

 10–15 years of experience in QA/QC, with 2–5 years in a lead or managerial role (Qatar/Gulf experience is mandatory).

 Certifications (All Mandatory):

> BGAS Grade 2 or NACE CIP Level 2.

> CSWIP 3.1/3.2 or AWS CWI.

> ASNT Level II in NDT (UT, MT, PT, RT).

> ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor.

✅ Strong knowledge of international standards (ISO, ASME, AWS, SSPC, API).

✅ Expertise in structural fabrication, piping, welding, and blasting/painting.

✅ Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
