Quality Control Coordinator

Description:

Professional Experience : Around 10 years of experience associated with Quality Management in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, coordination of quality activities within Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Hook-up, Brown-Field, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start-up projects of offshore facilities (jacket/topsides) in the Oil and Gas Industry,

• The ability to communicate well at all levels within the Company and to demonstrate leadership. In addition, the candidate must possess very good planning, presentation, negotiations, and organizational skills.

• Certified to – Welding :- AWS SCWI, CSWIP Grade 3.2 or EWIP/IWIP-C or COMPANY approved equivalent. NDT :- ISO 9712, ASNT . Preferably Certified and Experienced in Coating Activities.

• Good reporting skills and use of Microsoft reporting tools.

• Knowledge of QHSE audit/inspection techniques and procedures with regards to construction yards and O&G facilities.

• Familiar with General Specifications, EDMS and relevant codes and standards,

• Language: Fluent English,

• Computer literate,

• Strong leadership skills and good communication skills,

• Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment,

• Good analytical skills,

• H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings.

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT

• DBN PWM & AB OBS QC coordinator requires a complex interface with other entities of COMPANY.

• Yard Project quality requirements shall be maintained down the supply chain through EPCIC Contracts, sub-contractors, and purchase orders. The DBN PWM & AB OBS QC Coordinator shall provide guidance and support to project teams and coordinate the Quality Control and Surveillance activities.

• The position is primarily based in Qatar and would include Offshore Hook-up campaigns and Shutdown activities during the whole execution  Residential Status.

• Possibility of multiple worldwide missions.
