There is support in Qatar for research from Qatar National Research Fund and industry. Faculty members may advise graduate students enrolled in degree programs at Texas A&M University.

Texas A&M University at Qatar's Mechanical Engineering Program has recently launched a high-impact research initiative that centers on smart and sustainable manufacturing.
