Sales Engineer

 

Description:

As a Sales Engineer at EZELINK, you will leverage your extensive technical expertise and sales acumen to drive business growth. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and design tailored WiFi solutions using industry-leading technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Consultancy:

  • Provide expert advice on WiFi technologies, including IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
  • Conduct comprehensive site surveys and RF planning using tools like Ekahau or AirMagnet.
  • Recommend hardware and software solutions from top vendors like Cisco, Aruba and Ruckus.

Solution Design & Implementation:

  • Architect and design scalable WiFi networks, including access points, controllers, and related infrastructure.
  • Develop detailed network diagrams, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and SOWs (Statements of Work).

Sales Support:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify client requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Assist in preparing RFP/RFQ responses with detailed technical content.

Project Management:

  • Oversee the deployment of WiFi projects, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and timelines.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration and delivery.

Technical Training & Support:

  • Provide Level 2/3 technical support for troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues.
  • Train clients and internal teams on WiFi technologies and EZELINK’s solutions.

 

Industry Engagement:

  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in WiFi technologies, IoT integrations, and industry best practices.
  • Participate in industry events, workshops, and webinars to represent EZELINK.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Experience:

  • 7+ years of combined technical and sales experience in the WiFi industry within Qatar.
  • Proven hands-on experience with industry-leading WiFi vendors like Cisco Meraki, Aruba Networks or Ruckus Wireless.

Technical Expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of WiFi standards and protocols (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi 6).
  • Proficiency in network design and RF planning tools (Ekahau, AirMagnet).
  • Strong understanding of network security protocols (WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X authentication).
  • Experience with VLANs, QoS, DHCP, DNS, and network routing protocols.
  • Familiarity with cloud-managed WiFi solutions and SD-WAN technologies.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • CWNA, CWSP, CCNP Wireless, Aruba ACMP, or equivalent certifications.

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
