Senior Accountant

Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sr Accountant located in Doha, Qatar. As a Sr Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records and statements of the company, conducting regular audits, performing tax management and ensuring compliance with the relevant accounting standards and regulations. You will also collaborate with the external auditors, tax consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely information dissemination and analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a minimum of a CPA, CA or ACCA qualification

5+ years of experience working in accounting or finance, preferably in a construction company.

Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Excellent problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work with internal stakeholders, shareholders, auditors, tax consultants and regulatory agencies.

Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and deliver consistently high-quality results.
