Senior Associate Sponsorships

 

Description:

Implements KPI’s and best practices for Sponsorships. - Promote cost consciousness and efficiency and enhance productivity, to minimise cost, avoid waste, and optimise benefits for the bank. - Act within the limits of the powers delegated to the incumbent. - Understand the integration of Divisional plans and support Departmental plans. B. Customer (Internal & External): - Align business and market needs, and overseeing the sponsorship strategy and leverage planning. - Provide logistical support and project management as per sponsorship agreements. - Execute commercial partnerships projects focused on measuring effectiveness. - Provide spend reports and budget updates periodically to Manager – Sponsorships. - Ensure procurement process and implementation criteria to confirm invoicing and payments are settled in a timely manner. - Create a plan on all sponsorship benefits/ requirements and share with various stakeholders for effective implementation on benefits. - Ensure proper documentation and the implementation of sponsorships policies and procedures which will set out the principles, methodology and techniques to establish effective Sponsorships. - Work with both corporate internal and external communications and shareholder relations units to facilitate communication of sponsorship results by means of posting to websites, presentations, corporate bulletins and printed material. C. Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory): - Foster a climate that challenges others to think laterally and generate fresh perspectives and new partnership opportunities. - Create an environment to ensure implementation of value added suggestions, while stressing the importance of continuous improvement within the communications department. - Set, manage and control Support related budgets to facilitate the delivery and execution of the sponsorship strategies - Supervise in creating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Support Department for performance monitoring and quality measurement purposes and assist in monitoring their achievement on periodic basis. - Coordinate with Group Internal Audit and Compliance functions to provide them with the information they require. D. Learning & Knowledge: - Proactively identify areas for professional development of self and undertake development activities. - Seek out opportunities to remain current with all developments in professional field. E. Legal, Regulatory, and Risk Framework Responsibilities: - Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal compliance requirements including, but not limited to, Group Compliance Policies and Procedures (AML & CTF, Sanctions Policy, Data Protection Policy, Fraud Control Policy, Whistle Blowing Policy, Conflict of Interest and Insider Dealing Policy). - Understand and effectively perform your role under the Three Lines of Defence principle to identify measure, monitor, manage and report risks. - Ensure systematic good outcomes for clients in accordance with Conduct Risk policy. - Support the framework of RCSA, KRI, Incident reporting and remediation, as appropriate, in accordance with the Operational Risk Management requirements. - Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure full qualification to undertake the role.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree preferably in Business Administration or Communication. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a related field.
