Senior Civil/commercial Litigation Associciate

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with national and multinational clients.

Provide support and advice to colleagues within the firm in a team-oriented environment.

Write, review, and edit reports, opinions, correspondence, articles, and other documents to ensure compliance with legal standards.

Conduct initial intake and analysis on files, developing strategy and budgets within a 24-hour timeframe.

Draft pleadings, discovery documents, motions, and memoranda of law related to civil litigation.

Conduct extensive case law research, prepare client updates, and analyse legal and factual issues to formulate strategies.

Be able to shift tasks quickly depending on daily needs and work without constant supervision.

Key Requirements

Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.

At least 8 years of experience in litigation, corporate commercial law, contract drafting, and familiarity with Qatar’s legal frameworks.

Ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner; gather and analyse information skilfully.

Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Motivated, flexible, and personable, with the ability to work independently and maintain high standards of work.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.

Willingness to adapt to changes and continuously improve quality and efficiency.

Proactive in recommending projects or alternative ways to complete tasks that will benefit the client or case.
