Senior Incident Handler

 

Description:

Senior Incident Handler is urgently required for a leading IT Vendor based in Doha, Qatar, for a long-term assignment with a government entity.

This role is responsible for coordinating and driving incident remediation activities as directed by the Incident Handler Team Lead. This includes responsibility for controlling the information flow during incidents,

coordinating activity and

driving incident remediation, as well as communicating with all engaged entities as is appropriate.

Typically, this role handles larger scale, more complex, or higher risk incidents than an Incident Handler. This role is responsible for managing and monitoring Incident Handlers and small Incident Handling Teams and may deal with commercial partners and suppliers.

 

QUALIFICATION:

 

  • at least three years' experience working as an Incident Handler.
  • And, to ensure that IR team members bring complementary skills and knowledge to the
  • team, has taken and passed at least one of the following additional courses and certifications
  • CREST Registered Tester (CRT)
  • GIAC Response and Industrial Defence (GRID)
  • GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Professional (GICSP)
  • GIAC Defeating Advanced Threats (GDAT)
  • ISACA Cybersecurity Practitioner (CSX-P)
  • 1S0/IEC 27001 lead Incident Manager
  • QA ICS for Managers
  • SANS MGT305
  • Technical Communication and Presentation Skills
