Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Network Security Engineer. Seeking the right candidates with expertise in managing and maintaining network infrastructure and security systems, with proficiency in F5 (APM, GTM, LTM, AFM, AWF) Cisco Security Technologies, Check Point, Infoblox. The Network and Security Engineer will be responsible for implementing, and supporting network and security solutions. Candidates who are locally available in Qatar is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Implement, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers, using Cisco, Check Point, and F5 technologies (BIG-IP Modules - APM, GTM, LTM, AFM, AWF).
- Configure and troubleshoot network security policies, access controls, and security protocols to protect against unauthorized access, malware, and other security threats.
- Deploy and maintain Cisco ISE for identity and access management, including authentication, authorization, and policy enforcement for network devices and endpoints.
- Manage DNS, DHCP, and IP address management (IPAM) services using Infoblox appliances to ensure efficient and reliable network operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, software development, and business units, to implement network and security requirements for new projects and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain network and security documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in network and security engineering to enhance our organization's security posture and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Hands-On Experience with F5 BIG-IP Modules - APM, GTM, LTM, AFM, AWF.
- 8+ years of experience in network engineering and security roles.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Firewalls, Check Point firewalls and Security Management Server.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco ISE for network access control (NAC) and policy-based authentication.
- Proficiency in Cisco routing and switching technologies, including Cisco IOS, NX-OS, and Catalyst switches.
- Familiarity with Infoblox appliances for DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, and HTTP.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Work closely with multiple groups within and outside the organization to restore the services within the SLA and provide root cause analysis.
- Work closely with Stakeholders and team members to help with technology implementation, documentation, and streamlining of the process.
