Senior Risk & Business Continuity Manager

Description:

A well-known end client is looking for a Senior Risk Manager & Business Continuity Manager to be based in Doha, Qatar. The Senior Risk & Business Continuity Manager will lead in the development, maintenance, management, and execution of a comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework for identifying, assessing, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting on risks that may impact there performance. Ensures alignment of Risk Management with Corporate Strategy and support Senior Management in ensuring that risks are mitigated to the desired level. Ensures that the Risk Management Framework facilitates continuous improvement of Qatar Rail's capabilities for management of its top priority risks.

Ensure the integration of ERM with Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework to improve resiliency through identification and development of response, recovery, and restoration plans to face any disruptions.

Master's degree or higher in a related discipline

Education

• 14+ years of risk and management experience of which a minimum of 4 years working in an enterprise or risk management
• Experience in either transportation, aviation, healthcare, railway, road and infrastructure sector field is an added advantage
• Proven experience in achieving performance targets

Skills

• Strong experience in risk management standards e.g. ISO 31000 & 22301.
• Good knowledge in the implementation and maintenance of Risk Management Frameworks.
• Good knowledge of the general tools and techniques of risk management.
• Proven leadership, supervision, and facilitation skills

Operational

• Lead the preparation, publishing, implementing, managing, and maintenance of an effective framework, strategy, policies, plans, procedures, and activities for ERM and BCM.
• Ensure that a comprehensive and continuous risk identification, ownership, analysis, assessment, mitigation planning, monitoring, and reporting of risks is done using the Integrated Risk Management Software (IRMS)
• Oversee the coordination of ERM and BCM activities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Periodically review risk policies, procedures, reporting templates and framework to ensure everything is up to date
• Prepare and publish regular and ad hoc reporting on ERM and BCM activities for internal and external purposes.
