Senior System Engineer

Senior Systems Engineer (Azure) | Qatar (on-site, relocation assistance provided)

One of the largest organisations in the Gulf is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer (Azure) to relocate to Qatar and spearhead a migration from on-premise technologies to Azure cloud infrastructure.

You will come in as senior to a team of 2 existing engineers, performing as a technical 'hands-on' Microsoft expert who is skilled at the design, maintenance and optimisation of all networked software, hardware and operating systems.

The Role:

This position will see you collaborating with the Enterprise Services and Data Center teams to ensure a smooth and efficient migration of on-prem systems to cloud.

You will plan and provision new software/hardware, troubleshoot applications, manage Data Center servers/storage and consult with executive decision makers to ensure systems effectiveness is constantly evaluated and maximum efficiency is achieved.

Virtualisation technologies will be key in this role too.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Expertise in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Technologies, with a minimum of 5+ years experience designing, implementing and migrating technologies to Azure cloud.
• Experience managing and maintaining Data Centers.
• Other Desirable Tech: Veeam, Hyper V, VMware, Active Directory, Citrix, SCCM, PowerShell.
